Standard induced draft dry coolers require leaving air temperatures below 70 deg C to ensure motor longevity and prevent motor overheating.
The forced draft arrangement inherently allows for the lower ambient air temperature to pass over the motor preventing overheating whilst increasing the air mass flow rate, thus improving thermal performance.
